About Me

I began my yoga journey in 2009, I was living in the hustle and bustle of London and finding that stilling my busy mind was becoming really challenging.

After my first class, I was hooked. I have never been that person who is dedicated to the gym, running or any highly intense exercise. This was different, I discovered this beautiful practice that offered me so much more than just physical movement. From that initial class, I became inquisitive about yoga and hungry to find out more. This curious nature towards yoga still remains, its a lifelong journey of learning for me.

After practicing for a few months, the desire to learn became greater and I found myself wishing to study towards yoga teacher training. The calling was there, it just took me a few years, twin girls, and a move home to Scotland to create the perfect opportunity and for fate to work its magic. In 2015 I began my Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training in Glasgow, under the guidance of Julie Hanson, Marit Akintewe and Sue Wood. An amazing, challenging, soul searching year of hard work, commitment and self-discovery. Life would never be the same.

In January 2016 I assisted on my good friend and fellow yoga teacher’s first international retreat in the home of yoga, India. This experience spurred me to begin my classes and share this practice and I have never looked back.. You are only ever one yoga class away from a good mood, I promise! Sharing this practice has become my life’s work and genuinely fills me with so much gratitude and joy.

Since completing my YTT I have trained with Anodea Judith, Kathryn Budig, Rainbow Kids Yoga Training and Pre and Post Natal Training, as well as further CPD in hands on adjustments in yoga.
